ISI successfully participated for the third year in a row at the P-3 Orion annual International Operators Support Council (IOSC) 2017 event, which took place in Atlanta between October 23 - 26.
ISI's team showcased its latest developments on its Maritime Mission System (M2IMS), which will form the state-of-the art Mission System for the Hellenic's Navy upgrade of its P3-Orion MPA fleet.
M2IMS on board of the aircraft enables the integration and management of the following:
- Sensors, such as SAR Radar , EO/IR, ESM, EW/ELINT, ASW/ACINT, MAD, AIS
- Weapon Interfaces
- Data Links
- Navigation systems
Furthermore, the company presented its innovative approach for enhancing operational capabilities for legacy airborne platforms to cover a multitude of mission roles, in an efficient and cost-effective way. The topic of the presentation was titled "Revving Up Mission System's Capabilities - The 'Smart' approach" and elaborated on the following:
- Customer-tailored solutions to retrofit and complement existing Mission suites
- Sustainment through enhancement of Mission capabilities
- Innovation by keeping legacy systems in operation longer
