PRISS provides the facilities to quickly connect, extract and view imagery from a reconnaissance pod via post-sortie download of the Removable Memory Module (RMM) and allowing the front line user to validate the reconnaissance sortie.
In the event further exploitation is required, PRISS provides the ability to export imagery to the exploitation station via a Wide Area Network (WAN) connection in a bandwidth efficient way.
PRISS has been used to operate with the UTAS DB-110 Pod in remote airports by allowing an initial screening and validation of the imagery obtained from the DB-110 Pod’s RMM, immediately following an aircraft’s landing.
PRISS is designed as a two-man transportable system, autonomously powered, so as to make it easy to reach the landed aircraft on site.
